Monbulk Artist Dianne Bloemhoff lives in the Dandenong Ranges in Victoria and gains inspiration from the beauty of the surrounding hill areas as well as her travels. She paints in watercolour and oils and has recently tried acrylic. She particularly enjoys the sometimes unexpected results with watercolour. Dianne loves exploring nature and nudging the boundaries of colour composition. Her subjects include plants and flowers as well as animals and birds and contemporary landscapes and she is always trying new styles. She is largely self-taught but likes to frequently sharpen her skills and explore new ideas with short instructive courses. Dianne is a member of the Wildlife Art Society of Australasia. She sells her paintings at art shows and privately.
